ABOUT EM FENNEL Em Fennell is a second-generation emerging artist based on the East Coast of Australia in Burleigh Heads. Growing up in Asia has had a significant influence on the style of painting Em creates, combined with influences of the everyday world to create her very own contemporary style. Through emotive and complex compositions, utilising vibrant colours, symbols and text. Layers of acrylic paint, pastels, chalk and pencil are applied intuitively onto canvas; blending together to create a sense of balance and harmony. She has developed her own visual language, drawing inspiration from her childhood, interior design and the world of fashion. Her work appears in private collections all around Australia, America, New Zealand and Europe.
